Owner George Koshuta has 40 years of business experience in financial analysis and control. He retired in 2005 as a Senior Vice President after a 30 year career with Citigroup in New York City. He and his wife Jane relocated from Connecticut to their new home in Saratoga Springs. After two years of retirement, George has decided to re-enter the business world by starting his own bookkeeping business.

His career at Citigroup began in 1974 as a Financial Analyst and advanced through various assignments on increasing levels of responsibility as Financial Controller, Division Controller, and Chief of Staff.

In 1977 he was the Financial Controller for Citibank's ATM Project, an innovative strategy to install 440 ATMs in 200 sites operating 24/7 in the New York City area. This highly visible and successful strategy led to Citibank's marketing slogan, "The Citi Never Sleeps."

In 1995 he helped start-up Citigroup's Commercial Cards Division as Chief Financial Officer. He oversaw the business grow to 160 large corporate and government clients with over a million cardholders, $10 billion in annual credit card transactions and $10 million profit in 2000.

In 2003 he spearheaded a project that reduced almost $7 million in expenses for Citigroup's Corporate and Investment Banking Division by identifying opportunities in various expense categories and publishing monthly expense metrics and Best Practices. He was recognized for his expertise in analyzing and identifying expense reduction opportunities.

The combination of his business background and the personal satisfaction he gains by finding ways to make real financial improvements through his attention to details and "crunching the numbers" has led to the formation of a new business, Budget Bookkeeping, an affordable bookkeeping service for small business owners.
